In the history of Provence, the villages to be found here are established by the Greeks and Phoenicians which accordingly traders and fishermen. They built their houses in the coastline. And when the Roman came the villages were untied in the province of the Roman Empire. As evidence you can see many Roman epochs such as the churches, monasteries and cathedrals.
