 FAQ

1. When is the best time to see Provence?

If you go from June to September you can see the area a bloom with its world famous lavender fields. However if you plan to live in Provence then you should visit it in different times of the year to give you an idea of what it is like even past the tourist season.

2. Is it difficult to get around Provence?

Not at all! You have many choices which vary according to budget, speed and convenience. You can avail of the affordable flights, or take the train. Contact your travel agent about the best rates. You can also hire a car so you can freely tour the country side.

3. Do I need a travel agent?

A travel agent can help you find the best deals and can relieve you of the cumbersome details of planning and booking your arrangements yourself. They can also lend their personal expertise on the region and tell you where to go and where you can stay while exploring it. They can also make reservations and have everything ready for you when you arrive.

4. What’s the weather like in Provence?

June, July and August are generally the peak of summer and the temperature can hit the 20’s and 30’s. This is great if you just want to stay in a hotel and swim on the beach. But if you want to go picnicking or tour the area then plan your visit in April May, September and October. Some restaurants and hotels close during November to March so if you visit at that time you may have to ask your travel agent to find special accommodations.
